Our second visit to Arran, a beautiful isle. The scenery is stunning, Glenrosa is a beautiful walk with the colours shifting, so atmospheric and peaceful. We enjoyed walks 'Clauchland and Corriegills' a lovely circle with stunning views of the holy isle. And 'Coire Fhionn Lochan' is a steep climb but absolutely breathtaking when you reach the lochan. On a wind swept day 'Drunadoon Point' was all the fresh air we needed! A beautiful friendly place, real food for the soul.
Third visit to this lovely cottage, we have enjoyed every moment, not even Storm Ali could spoil it. We will be back. PS Who needs an alarm clock when you have the crow tapping on window at the crack of dawn.
Ideal accomodation, ideal location. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Had the phantom crow at Glen Rosa tapping on the window at dawn on a couple occasions. Thank-you for a great holiday, we will be back.
Great week in Arran - and Glen Rosa Stables lives up to all expectations and provided a fantastic base for exploring the island. Lots of good walks, and spent a lot of time fishing in beautiful places. Wish I could report successes ... but I can’t!! Do get down to Kildonan beach at low tide - utter beautiful.
