Day Trip to Gigha

A really comfortable and enjoyable week in a beautifully appointed cottage. We have enjoyed Spring sunshine - and a little rain too and feel thoroughly rested by the tranquiity of this place and the beauties of this island at this time of year.

We have painted, fished, walked endlessly - some car and stroll with our ancient dog, some more challenging scrambles.

We've enjoyed chatting with neighbours and feeling the hospitality of a warm welcome extended from here at the cottage across the island. We had a day trip to Gigha too - well worth the little ferry crossing for the white sand beaches and seafood.
