Bastille Day 2018!

Yet another lovely staff at Glen Rosa Stables. This is our 3rd stay in this house and knew it as 'Reaper Weary' the first couple of stays. Marjory and Stuart have done a great job in building on Campbell's already welcoming cottage and we appreciated the 'welcome pack' on arrival.

The weather was incredible and we managed swims in the blue pool and a climb up Goatfell, although not on the same day Scotland's best kept secret 'the midgies' didn't materialise too significantly but between our boy Ross and myself we racked up 50+ clegg bites mostly accrued whilst drying off at the rock pools.

This didn't detract in the slightest from our enjoyment of the cottage, lovely and cosy as our some described it. We ate out a few times, but less than we had intended as we enjoyed 'being in' so much. The house came well equipped in the kitchen, in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The audio/visual entertainment provided well above the norm.
