Perfectly located place to Stay

We've had a fantastic week on Arran - our first return visit for 30 years! Enjoyed walks at Glenashdale Falls, EasMhor, Machrie Standing Stones, Kings Cave and the Saddle (we walked the length of Glen Rosa!). There were also beautiful waterfalls on the walk up North Glen Sannox. We can recommend the food at Cafe Thyme at the Old Byre - its busy but worth is the wait - my son was impressed by the choice of vegan food, my husband love the haggis and cheese pide (a sort of Turkish pizza). We also ate in Coast (Whiting Bay) and had a take-away from Shanghai in Brodick - very good.We are not whisky drinkers but the shop at the distillery

We have had very Scottish weather - sunshine one minute, pouring rain the next but we have loved seeing Arran in all weathers and we have done everything we wanted to do. I hope it won't be 30 years before we are back again!

By the way, the house is amazing - thank-you Marjory for such a comfortable, well equipped and perfectly located place to stay.
