Seals in the Sunshine

What our wonderful cottage - so comfortable. A great base for our visit to Arran. We were blessed with great weather. The scenary is fantastic. Took the ferry from Lochranza to Claonaig and explored the Mull of Kintyre, definitely worth it. Machrihanish and Southend so pretty. The carved seal on a rock at Corrie was a surprise as we watched a real seal jump up beside it and bask in the sunshine.

Tried quite a few places to eat. Glen isle Restaurant - excellent fine dining. The Fiddlers very good, live music some nights. The Douglas - not brilliant it is what it is, good for young families. Lunch at The Kildonan Hotel good food and great views.
