We have had a wonderful week on Arran, made particularly special by having such a lovely cottage to call home for the week. So comfortable and well equipped (finally a self catering with sharp knives!!), with a brilliant woodburner to warms us up on an evening. Had some great wildlife spots, Golden Eagle on Glen Rosa, multiple red deer at close range on Glen Sannox, red squirrels at Glenashdale and plenty of seals at Kildonan. Great lunch at "Little Rock" in Brodick and 'The Coffee Pot' in Whiting Bay. Amazing burger at "Pier Head Tavern" in Lamlash. We are already planning our return and working on a 2 week stay next time!
